Business Development Specialist for Cochlear Implant Technology

">We are seeking a Clinical and Business Development Specialist to join our organization in Sydney, Australia. This role presents a unique chance to be part of a global leader in developing advanced cochlear implant products.
">Key Responsibilities">- Design and deliver training programs for hearing care professionals on our products and technology.
- Provide expert clinical support to hearing care professionals, addressing clinical issues in collaboration with the APAC support team.
- Develop and implement strategies to expand market penetration and drive business growth in Queensland.
- Maintain relationships with key healthcare stakeholders, attending industry events and conferences to stay updated and share insights on the latest developments in cochlear implant technology.
- Accurately record clinical activities and provide regular updates on clinical outcomes, trends, and customer feedback to internal stakeholders and hearing care partners.
- Audiology degree (BS) required; Master's degree preferred.
- Clinical Experience: A minimum of 5 years' experience in clinical audiology. Proficiency in cochlear implant mapping is essential. Experience with our products and mapping software is highly regarded.
- Business Development Experience: Experience in business development and sales in the medical device industry is highly desirable.
- Travel: Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time, including to various clinical sites and industry events.
- Social competencies: Exceptional relationship-building, influencing, and communication skills; ability to handle rejection and remain resilient, persistent, and adaptable, demonstrates resourcefulness, thrives in roles that require both strategic thinking and hands-on action, enjoys the challenge of growing a brand.
