Plena Healthcare is a leading national allied health provider to the aged care, community and disability sectors. Our team of Speech Pathologists provides care to clients with swallowing and communication difficulties.

Opportunities are available for adult-servicing Speech Pathologists to provide mobile services to residential aged care facilities and the local community. Open to recent graduates and experienced clinicians.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing your calendar of appointments – flexible working hours allow you to choose the work hours and locations that suit you.
  • Assessing and diagnosing clients' swallowing and communication difficulties.
  • Potential for national travel to support clients in regional locations.
  • Provision of telehealth-based dysphagia and/or communication assessment and intervention.
  • Liaison with our close-knit national team of Speech Pathologists.
  • Advocating for support for clients with communication difficulties.
  • Working closely with organisational staff, support coordinators and colleagues to ensure optimum care needs are met.

Professional development opportunities are provided, including access to extensive resources, internal clinical supervision and up to $500 annually for professional development programs of interest.

Key qualifications required include a professional qualification in Speech Pathology and an active membership of Speech Pathology Australia.
