About the role:

This position will work with customers as a key point of contact for enquiries to maintain effective relationships.

We are looking for an excellent communicator with a passion for providing high levels of customer service.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years experience in the Freight Forwarding Industry and at least 2 years' experience in a Customer Service/Pricing position.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, great time management, and an outgoing personality with the ability to create strong relationships are essential.

Familiarity and experience with CargoWise1 is considered essential. Experience with task manager, order manager, company tariff, client rates, and one off quote functionality within CargoWise considered advantageous.

  • Key Accountabilities:
  • Build and maintain long term relationships with new and existing clients and ensure high level of client satisfaction.
  • Liaise with customers via phone, email, and in-person channels to support them with their cargo inquiries.
  • Manage customer orders with overseas Gebrüder Weiss offices and agents to ensure seamless delivery.
  • Liaise with the sales team to support customer relationships. This includes providing quotations, managing customer updates, resolving client issues, and improving customer relationships.
  • Input and update customer orders, company tariffs, client rates, one-off quotes, and customer information into CargoWise.
  • Work with overseas agents and colleagues to manage the timely turnaround of quotations.
  • Process customer shipments through the task manager functionality of Cargowise to manage the paperless processing of orders and shipments.
  • Support sales team to respond and follow up on sales inquiries and leads.
  • Skills and Qualifications:
  • At least 3 years experience in the Freight Forwarding Industry.
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a Customer Service/Pricing position.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Outgoing personality with the ability to create strong relationships.
  • Familiarity and experience with CargoWise1.
  • Positive attitude, ability to work and collaborate in a team, and a willingness to learn.
