Blood Component Technician

This role involves processing and separating blood components. Key responsibilities include unpacking shippers, logging data into systems, processing red cells, freezing and storing plasma components.
About the RoleAs a processing technician, you will be working in a dynamic environment to ensure efficient production processes. This is a permanent part-time opportunity with a rotating roster, offering flexibility and variety.
Key Responsibilities- Process and separate blood components
- Separate and store red cells
- Freeze and store plasma components
- Load and unload equipment as required
To succeed in this role, you must have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with others. You will also need experience working to standard operating procedures in a regulated production environment.
