About the role
Our Brisbane Processing Centre is seeking a Processing Technician to ensure the safe and efficient provision of blood, plasma, and biological products.
You'll achieve this through teamwork, collaboration, and a focus on safety, quality, and customer service, delivering the right products, to the right places, at the right time.
A day as a Processing Technician could include:
Unpacking shippers and logging data into Lifeblood systems
Processing and separating blood components
Separating and storing red cells
Freezing and storing plasma components
Loading and unloading the rapid plasma freezer
Participating in equipment setup, maintenance, and cleaning with training and support
Maintaining high standards of quality control and safety measures

Here's what we are looking for:
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and twist frequently to operate different platforms
Experience working with standard operating procedures in a regulated production environment
Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative working style
Experience in a scientific laboratory is advantageous but not essential
This is a permanent part-time role - 60 hours per fortnight, with flexibility for part-time applications.
The role involves varied shifts on a rotating roster, including:
Shift timings:Mon-Thu & Sat 5AM to midnight, Fri 5AM to 2AM, Sun 5AM to 3PM
