Job Title: Food Services Assistant/Care Companion

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate individual to fill this critical role. As a Food Services Assistant/Care Companion, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while supporting our team in providing high-quality care.

The key responsibilities of this position include:

  • Meal Delivery: Ensure timely and efficient delivery of meals across dining areas within the residence.
  • Catering Support: Assist with preparation of basic food items as required or directed by your supervisor.
  • Function Planning and Delivery: Provide support for planning and execution of functions, ensuring seamless execution.
  • Food Safety and Compliance: Maintain adherence to safe food handling practices and compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards.
  • Customer Service: Deliver exceptional customer service to residents, ensuring their needs and requirements are met.

Requirements

  • A warm, compassionate, and reliable team member with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to listen and understand client needs and requirements.
  • Availability to work over 7-day roster.
  • Relevant industry training in Food Handling and Hygiene Certificate.
  • Previous experience working in an aged care or catering team.
  • Knowledge of food safety and HACCP compliance.
