Job Title: Operating Theatre Professional
About the RoleThis position involves working as an Instrument and Circulating Nurse across a range of surgical specialties. You'll be responsible for preparing and maintaining surgical setups, stock rotation, and upkeep of surgeons' preference cards.
A typical week includes active participation in surgical procedures, maintaining high standards of infection control and safety, and contributing to smooth daily theatre operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain accurate records of stock levels and ordering of supplies
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities
- Work effectively with medical and senior staff to ensure seamless patient care
To be considered for this role, you must have a minimum of 12 months recent experience as an Instrument and Circulating Nurse, strong communication skills, and a positive, adaptable attitude.
Additionally, you'll need to possess a commitment to best practice, perioperative experience, and professional integrity.
