Compliance Officer Role
We are seeking a skilled Compliance Officer to drive AML/CTF compliance initiatives in multiple jurisdictions. As a key member of our team, you will ensure alignment with regulatory standards, enhance client KYC efficiency, and streamline associated compliance processes.
The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of AML/CTF regulations across various jurisdictions and be able to drive process improvements, particularly in KYC and client verification systems.
- Main Responsibilities
Support day-to-day AML/CTF compliance activities across relevant jurisdictions, adhering to internal policies and regulatory requirements.
Maintain awareness of AML/CTF obligations and escalate identified risks or issues to senior compliance personnel.
Contribute to ongoing monitoring and documentation efforts as directed by the Head of Compliance.
Key Initiatives
KYC Refresh Project: Collaborate on periodic reviews and updates of client records to maintain accurate and up-to-date information.
Client Verification and Authentication: Develop and integrate processes and systems for client verification (including document verification) to enhance client security measures.
Application Form Enhancements: Work with the engineering team to optimize onboarding forms and processes for improved user experience and compliance.
Requirements
A strong foundation in AML/CTF regulations, including knowledge of industry trends and developments.
Exceptional problem-solving and project management skills, with the ability to drive process improvements.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic environment.
Relevant compliance qualifications or certifications, preferably in the financial services or trading industries.
Familiarity with regulatory technology solutions, with a focus on innovation and efficiency.
