About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to progress your career in Community Housing with Baptcare Affordable Housing (BAH). As the Housing Coordinator, you will lead a highly supportive team of experienced housing workers, overseeing growth in BAH's portfolio and striving for best practice in our housing services.

You will shape continual improvement in BAH's operations by reviewing and improving systems and processes. Ensuring team members receive a high standard of support and guidance is also a key responsibility.

Salary and Benefits:

The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary of $85,000 per annum, plus access to tax benefits through salary packaging and novated leasing. You will also have access to confidential counselling and support services.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in community or public housing tenancy management, including in a management or team leader capacity.
  • Strong knowledge of the Residential Tenancies Act and other applicable legislation and regulations.
  • Extensive experience in preparing and presenting cases at Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (VCAT).
  • Experience managing a team and cultivating a positive, productive, and supportive culture.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong IT literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and tenancy/property management software.
  • Demonstrated skills in time management, prioritisation, planning, and organisation.
  • Strong numeracy and financial acumen.
