Our Opportunity

As a Fixed Plant Mechanical Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance and servicing of all Ore Processing Facility equipment, working closely with the Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintenance and Servicing: Ensure all maintenance works are completed to schedule in a timely manner and to a high standard, with a focus on continuous improvement practices.
  • Risk Assessment and Compliance: Promote rigorous compliance to Zero Harm principles, ensuring that all works completed are adequately risk assessed with hazards mitigated and controlled.
  • Inspections and Audits: Ensure all necessary maintenance inspections and audits of the site and related facilities are completed within allocated time frames.
  • Diagnostics and Fault Finding: Diagnose and repair issues with all Ore Processing Facility equipment.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Mechanical Fitter Trade Qualification: Possess a Mechanical Fitter Trade qualification with proven experience in a Fixed Plant maintenance environment.
  • Asset Maintenance Experience: Experience in maintaining crushing, grinding, screening, and pumping assets.
  • Independence and Computer Literacy: Demonstrated ability to work independently and computer literacy with all MS Office and SAP.
  • High Risk Work License: Current High Risk Work License – EWP, Rigging, Dogging, Telehandler (desirable).
  • Safety Focus: Ability to risk assess and apply controls with a high regard for safety.
