ClearCompany is seeking an experienced Neurologist to join our team as a Staff Specialist in the beautiful Illawarra region. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with a talented team of healthcare professionals and contribute to the development of Neurology services.

About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled and dedicated Neurologist who can demonstrate expertise in providing high-quality clinical care to patients with neurological conditions, including stroke. The successful candidate will be part of a multidisciplinary team that provides comprehensive care to patients across the district.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this position is $350,000-$450,000 AUD, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including:

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing high-quality clinical care to patients with neurological conditions, including stroke
  • Participating in teaching and clinical governance activities
  • Supporting the development of Neurology services and facilitating a culture of learning and best practice
  • Working effectively with colleagues as part of a multidisciplinary team

Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must have:

  • Specialist registration or eligibility for specialist registration as a Medical Practitioner with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) in Neurology and/or equivalent and specialist recognition and further training qualifications in Stroke
  • Proven capacity and/or experience in providing effective high-quality services, demonstrated through successful clinical practice
