The Role

We are seeking an experienced Practice Assistant to support our Restructuring practice in Sydney. This role will involve billing and general matter management responsibilities, with a focus on delivering exceptional client service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Billing for the Sydney Restructuring team, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing to clients.
  • Managing fee estimates and liaising with partners to ensure seamless execution of tasks.
  • Preparing and sending bills to clients, including uploading to client billing platforms.
  • Overseeing time entry and ensuring all time is captured prior to billing.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in client reporting and working with clients who have specific billing and reporting requirements.
  • Previous experience in a similar position, either as a Personal Assistant or Legal Assistant.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to work autonomously.
  • Strong technical skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Able and willing to use initiative to contribute to the overall success of the team.
