About the Opportunity

Konekt is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist or Exercise Physiologist to join their team in Perth.

As a Workplace Rehabilitation Specialist, you will play a crucial role in delivering workplace injury prevention and rehabilitation solutions that enable individuals and organisations to achieve their potential.

You will utilise your specialist knowledge and skills to assist people to return to meaningful engagement in occupations, evaluate treatment and/or rehabilitation needs, and help clients identify future employment or training options.

In this role, you will be responsible for effective case management, planning, coordinating and monitoring client progress toward their return to work goal.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Evaluating treatment and/or rehabilitation needs of workers who have been involved in a work-related or non-work-related injury or illness
  • Helping clients identify future employment or training options by reviewing their transferable skills, qualifications and interests
  • Performing various assessments depending on area of clinical expertise, including functional capacity evaluations, worksite, ergonomic or activities of daily living assessments
  • Engaging with key stakeholders and building strong relationships to facilitate achievement of business objectives

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • Professional registration with AHPRA, ESSA (AEP)
  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field
  • A current Working with Children Check
  • Willingness to undergo a National Criminal History Check upon successful application
