Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Infrastructure Project Director to join our team at FinXL. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of critical ICT Infrastructure projects with multiple stakeholders involved from Infrastructure and Business aspects.

About the Role:

  • To lead and deliver projects that have an agency-wide impact, develop, implement, and evaluate project plans and schedules in accordance with the agency's project management framework.
  • Collaborate with staff in the immediate work area and with internal and external stakeholders to oversee project design, governance arrangements, and operational integration.
  • Lead and manage staff, overseeing the management of performance, attendance, and health and wellbeing; develop staff capability through coaching and succession planning.
  • Provide high-level strategic advice and feedback to stakeholders and the agency's executive.
  • Research, review, and evaluate projects within a section or specialist area; report on project objectives and outputs for presentation to the executive and oversee ongoing project reporting.
  • Manage and monitor financial budgets; oversee the management of contracts, procurement, resources, and expenditure.
  • Identify, assess, manage, escalate, report, and monitor project risks, issues, and benefits.
  • Manage and lead change; actively contribute to and implement the agency's strategic direction.
  • Engage, negotiate, and manage key strategic stakeholder relationships to deliver projects and respond to changes in needs and expectations.

About You:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in managing critical ICT Infrastructure projects with multiple stakeholders involved from Infrastructure and Business aspects.
  • A proven track record in leading technical teams and managing cross-disciplinary technical programs, from project definition to product delivery/demonstration.
  • Experience tracking a complex ICT project and providing support to clear blocking issues.
  • Familiarity with AGILE methodology and project tracking.
