**Job Title:** Treasury Accounting Manager - Australia
**About the Role:
In this exciting role, you will lead the treasury accounting function within a prominent organization in Australia. As a seasoned professional, you will oversee day-to-day operations related to securitized trusts, manage hedge accounting processes, and develop accounting policies aligned with AASB standards.
**Responsibilities:**
Treasury Accounting
• Manage the treasury accounting team, ensuring timely completion of tasks and adherence to organizational goals.
• Develop and implement accounting procedures that align with Australian accounting standards (AASB).
• Oversee monthly hedge accounting activities, including effectiveness calculations and documentation.
Team Development
• Mentor and develop a team of treasury accounting professionals, fostering a collaborative and performance-driven environment.
Strategic Oversight
• Drive process improvements and innovative practices within the treasury accounting function.
• Collaborate with executive stakeholders to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.
Requirements:
• At least 8 years of experience in Financial Services in Australia.
• Expertise in hedge accounting and treasury management.
• Proven leadership skills with experience in managing teams.
• Strong understanding of AASB standards and financial instruments.
**Salary Estimate:** $140,000 - $170,000 per annum.
