Assistant Food and Care Specialist

We are seeking dedicated and friendly staff to provide high-quality hospitality service and catering/kitchen support to residents.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will assist with meal preparation, presentation, delivery, and serving of resident meals, as well as cleaning kitchens, dining rooms, and other food areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with meal preparation and presentation
  • Deliver and serve resident meals
  • Clean kitchens, dining rooms, and other food areas

Personal Care Assistant:

  • Provide respectful personal care, including hygiene assistance, dressing, and mobility support
  • Assist residents with daily living activities and meals
  • Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with Aged Care Quality Standards

Requirements:

  • Current food handling/food safety certificate
  • Comprehensive knowledge of food safety guidelines, including OH&S and infection control
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in personal care ideally in an aged care setting
  • Experience caring for people living with dementia
