As a senior designer, you will play a key role in driving the design direction of our brand. You will be responsible for leading the conception and development of all products, from initial concept to final product launch. Your creative vision will be essential in ensuring that our products meet the needs of our customers and stay ahead of the competition.

This is an exciting opportunity for a fashion designer who can translate trends into unique, contemporary designs. You will work closely with our manufacturing partners to ensure seamless handovers of developments, and communicate regularly with our design team to resolve any critical design issues or developments. Your commercial acumen will be crucial in selecting and developing fabrics, colors, trims, and other materials in line with company standards.

You will also be responsible for attending fit sessions and using your technical ability to ensure the best fit is achieved. Additionally, you will approve all details of final products in line with original design briefs. Your understanding of manufacturing structures and cost opportunities will enable you to drive business growth and profitability.

We are looking for a motivated and experienced designer who can thrive in a fast-paced environment. You will have a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a junior designer or designer role, and excellent communication and negotiation skills. You will also be proficient in Illustrator and Photoshop, and have a strong understanding of industry regulations and compliance requirements.

About the Role:

  • Lead the design direction and create captivating collections in line with our brand's aesthetic
  • Maintain close links with manufacturers to ensure seamless handover of developments
  • Communicate regularly with the Design Team to ensure any critical design issues or developments are highlighted and resolved when required
  • Select, develop, and source fabrications, colors, trims etc. in line with company standards
  • Attend fit sessions and use technical ability to ensure best fit is achieved and approve final samples
  • Approve all details of final product in line with original design brief
  • Understand manufacturing structure of supplier's business in order to recognize cost & manufacturing opportunities for every design submitted
  • Participating in range planning meetings to ensure the range is balanced in styling, color and fabrications
