Content Creator Position

The role of a content creator involves producing engaging, informative, and high-quality content. This includes writing, editing, and optimizing content for various platforms.

  • Develop content that meets brand standards and resonates with the audience.
  • Collaborate with the managing editor to understand objectives and guide content development accordingly.
  • Contribute to the multichannel content strategy, aligning with the Qantas brand and consumer to drive traffic growth.

A strong track record of ideation, writing, and editing across editorial and native content is essential, as well as an understanding of travel and the pressures of operating in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Regularly monitor site performance and adjust strategy accordingly.
  • Stay updated on developments in international best practice content strategy and deployment.
  • Assist in managing the editorial team to ensure effective distribution of resources.

This is a highly operational role involving uploading and optimizing articles, image research, SEO, AEO, and content management. The successful candidate must be prepared to work across the site at all levels.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of proven experience as a digital producer working directly in a CMS and across social platforms.
  • Relevant tertiary degree.
  • In-depth understanding of SEO, Adobe/Google Analytics, and CMS.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and subbing skills.
