Job Title: Nurse Manager - Surgical Services

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Nurse Manager to lead our Surgical Services team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and empower their team to achieve exceptional outcomes. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of nurses and support staff to deliver high-quality patient care
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to improve patient outcomes and reduce complications
  • Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure seamless patient flow and coordination of care
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of patient data and performance metrics
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance quality of care and patient satisfaction
Requirements:
  • Degree in Nursing or related field
  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse in Australia (AHPRA)
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a leadership or management role in a healthcare setting
  • Excellent leadership and management skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
