Nurse Manager - Workforce and Operations

Alfred Health is a leader in health care delivery, improvement, research, and education. We provide health services to the inner southeast suburbs of Melbourne, including ambulatory, inpatient, and community-based services.

  • Fixed term parental leave position until July 2026
  • Full-time (76 hours per fortnight)
  • Nurse Unit Manager Level 2 (NM11)
  • Location: Alfred Health
The Department

The Emergency Service within Alfred Health manages over 100,000 patients annually, including the Alfred Emergency & Trauma Centre and Sandringham Emergency Department, which has an integrated Urgent Care Centre model of care.

The Role

The Nurse Manager - Workforce & Operations promotes clinical excellence, staff development, and manages clinical risk. Collaborating with other nurse managers, you will implement systems to improve patient outcomes.

Qualifications and Experience
  • Current Registered Nurse Division 1 registration with AHPRA
  • Postgraduate qualifications in healthcare or management preferred
  • Leadership experience
  • Postgraduate qualification or working towards one
