Job Role

The Job Coach plays a vital role in guiding clients towards job-readiness and enabling opportunities for employment once they are ready for work.

As a Job Coach, you will be at the forefront of our services, working one-on-one with clients to provide support for a sustainable career.

On a typical day as a Job Coach, you might:

  • Encourage and motivate participants through appropriate activities to find their own employment;
  • Build relationships with local employers to source job opportunities for our clients;
  • Reverse market clients to employers;
  • Place participants into sustainable employment leading to outcomes;
  • Ensure all activity is appropriately recorded, documented and adheres to compliance and/or contractual requirements; and
  • Provide exceptional service to clients, employers, and stakeholders throughout the process.

You will be working with a vibrant, collaborative, and goals-focused team of employment services professionals from diverse backgrounds who are all seeking to make an impact in the diversity and inclusion space.

Key Responsibilities

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in customer-facing roles, with a minimum of one year's experience;
  • Demonstrated ability to work with people overcoming challenges;
  • Ability to confidently liaise with multiple external and internal stakeholders;
  • Confidence working to KPIs and making placements that result in sustainable and lasting employment for our clients/employers;
  • An overall desire to contribute to our broader team, with a true belief in our purpose: to connect people and business, so both can thrive; and
  • A current Driver's License.
