Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, plus superannuation and other benefits.

Job Responsibilities

As a Senior Business Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in creating value and driving improvements for clients by providing comprehensive advisory services.

This role involves advising clients on areas including asset protection, business performance, business reporting, accounting and taxation management, wealth protection, and change management.

  • Be a regular point of contact for clients, ensuring consistency in exceptional client service.
  • Conduct analyses and assessments to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to enhance clients' financial and operational performance.
  • Coordinate and prioritize workflow among direct reports, ensuring tasks and projects are allocated efficiently and completed within agreed timelines.
  • Contribute to the development of the team through the continuous building and sharing of knowledge while engaging in ongoing personal career growth.
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and mentorship to junior staff members, fostering their professional growth and development.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree-qualified background in a relevant field.
  • Familiarity with accounting software.
  • 4+ years supervising, leading, and mentoring staff in a business advisory environment.
  • Ability to undertake tax planning recommendations for clients.
  • Able to prepare financial statements and tax returns for multiple and complex entities.
  • Possesses a positive and proactive approach to delivering support and commercial advice to clients.
  • Strong numeracy and analytic skills with the ability to interpret and make sense of data.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to be agile with changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Ability to act with integrity, honesty, and influence stakeholders to build relationships.
  • Superior written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with supervisor and staff and ability to coach, mentor, and lead staff.
