Job Opportunity: Community Support Worker

We are seeking a qualified professional to provide domestic and social support to our eligible Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander aged members.

  • Assist with general client care, including undertaking personal care, domestic assistance, social support, respite, meals and transport activities.
  • Support the independence of our Elders to remain in their own homes.
  • Deliver a tailored service to our clients in line with their care plan
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A current C Class Drivers Licence (QLD)
  • A current Criminal History Check
  • A reliable vehicle with proof of registration
  • A valid QLD Yellow Card - Disability Worker Screening Check
  • A Certificate III in Aged Care / Individual Support
  • The ability to work sensitively and effectively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Elders, respecting their traditional culture, values, and personal ways of doing things
