Social Work Specialist - Family Violence
This position involves delivering quality, safe, and effective responses to children, young people, and families experiencing family violence. As a Social Work Specialist - Family Violence, you will work across complex presentations and deliver intake support via phone, within the agency site, and through outreach visits. The position also involves managing an active caseload, mentoring and supporting newer team members, including being responsible for Social Work student placements, and referring clients to services within the broader service system.
About the Position
- Deliver quality, safe, and effective responses to children, young people, and families experiencing family violence.
- Work across complex presentations and deliver intake support via phone, within the agency site, and through outreach visits.
- Manage an active caseload.
- Mentor and support newer team members, including being responsible for Social Work student placements.
- Refer clients to services within the broader service system.
