We're looking for a skilled Accountant with Accounts Receivable experience to join our high-performing team in the Not-for-Profit and Aged Care sector.

The role is primarily based at our Support Office in Chatswood, but flexibility and a willingness to work at different locations are essential to support key stakeholders.

This position reports directly to the Finance Manager, and you'll work closely with our broader team across the state.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and post journals on Epicor
  • Assist in preparing the monthly profit and loss, Balance Sheet and cashflow reports
  • Assist with funding reconciliations and grant acquittals
  • Assist with billing and support accounting for collections
  • Assist with forecasts and budgeting as required
  • Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations
  • Help manage the asset stock take projects
  • Assist with audit and tax processes
Requirements
  • Proven Experience: Minimum 5 years of accounting and accounts receivable experience within an aged care organisation
  • Professional Qualification: CA or CPA qualification (or actively working towards one)
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of aged care standards, legislation and funding models
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Ability to liaise confidently with Centrelink, Services Australia, TAG, older-adult rights bodies, residents and their families
