We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team. The successful candidate will provide personal care, domestic assistance, social support, meal preparation, compression stockings, medication prompting, and other services to clients in their homes.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with vulnerable populations, be comfortable with manual handling and hoisting, and possess excellent communication skills. A Certificate III or IV in Community, Aged Care, Disability, or equivalent is mandatory, along with a valid driver's license and own vehicle.
About the Role- Assist clients with daily living activities, such as showering, grooming, and dressing.
- Support clients in the community by accompanying them to appointments and outings.
- Provide companionship and engage clients in social activities to promote independence and well-being.
- Experience working in disability or aged care.
- Certificate III or IV in Community, Aged Care, Disability, or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license and own vehicle.
- First Aid certificate and willingness to obtain further training.
