Job Summary

The SA Health is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Advanced Clinical Podiatrist to join the Allied Health team in the Southern Adelaide Local Health Network. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical care to adult clients with complex orthopaedic, diabetic, and rheumatologic foot and ankle pathology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide timely assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of orthopaedic, diabetic, and rheumatologic conditions affecting the foot and ankle.
  • Lead the provision of specialist complex foot clinic services in conjunction with the Foot and Ankle Service, Department of Orthopaedics.
  • Document all information related to clinical care in patient medical records in accordance with approved medical record documentation and date capture standards.
  • Liaise with referring agents and other disciplines involved in patient care to assist in cooperative care planning and patient management.
Requirements
  • High-level written and oral communication skills with patients, carers, and inter-disciplinary team members.
  • Appropriate degree or equivalent qualification which entitles registration with the Podiatry Board of Australia.
  • Five years postgraduate clinical practice.
  • Experience in working with foot and ankle orthopaedics, rheumatology, and other related clinics.
