Advanced Clinician-Orthopaedics Podiatrist

The Southern Adelaide Local Health Network is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Advanced Clinical Podiatrist to join the Allied Health team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing clinical leadership to the Departments of Orthopaedics and Podiatry, and will be accountable to the Head of Foot and Ankle Unit Orthopaedics and the SALHN Podiatry Manager.
Key Responsibilities- Providing timely assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for orthopaedic, diabetic, and rheumatologic conditions affecting the foot and ankle
- Leading the provision of specialist complex foot clinic services in conjunction with the Foot and Ankle Service, Department of Orthopaedics
- Documenting all information related to clinical care in patient medical records
- Liaising with referring agents and other disciplines involved in patient care
- High-level written and oral communication skills
- Appropriate degree or equivalent qualification which entitles registration with the Podiatry Board of Australia
- Five years postgraduate clinical practice
- Experience in working with foot and ankle orthopaedics, rheumatology, and other related clinics
