Job Overview

The Athlete's Foot is seeking a results-driven leader to spearhead our high-performing team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving operational excellence, elevating customer experiences, and fostering community connections.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day store operations including sales, KPIs, visual merchandising, stock management, and shrinkage control
  • Motivate and develop your team to achieve business targets and deliver exceptional customer experiences
  • Monitor sales performance and implement actions to meet daily, weekly, and monthly goals
  • Manage wage budgets and rosters in line with company standards and best practices
  • Champion team development through training, coaching, and succession planning
  • Create a strong, positive store culture focused on results, learning, and wellbeing
  • Build community engagement through sporting partnerships and healthcare relationships
  • Ensure OH&S compliance in line with national and state requirements

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Store Manager or Senior Assistant Store Manager in a fast-paced retail environment
  • Confident, hands-on approach with a passion for leading from the front
  • Experience developing high-performing teams and inspiring a culture of success
  • Strong operational know-how in rostering, wage control, visual merchandising, and stock management
  • Strategic thinking and the ability to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Skilled in building effective relationships with support office teams and local partners
