Job Overview

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Centre Manager in daily operations, including program planning, delivery, and documentation.
  • Staff supervision, administration, and financial management tasks.
  • Deliver a high-quality, inclusive, educational program.
  • Provide a safe, secure, welcoming, and nurturing environment for children.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to ensure the best outcomes for children and families.
  • Participate in professional and personal development opportunities.
  • Consent to be the Responsible Person on site in the absence of the Centre Manager.
  • Promote the service within the local community in accordance with our values.
Requirements:
  • Diploma qualification or willingness to work towards it, including studies in education, community services, health, therapy, sports, or creative arts.
  • Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card), First Aid, CPR, Asthma/Anaphylaxis certification.
  • Knowledge of the National Quality Framework, My Time Our Place framework, and National Law/Regulations.
  • Experience in childcare and leadership roles.
  • Effective computer skills, including experience with childcare management software.
  • Strong workplace communication and leadership skills.
