At NHP Electrical Engineering Products, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Operations Manager to join our Finance team in Melbourne. As a key member of our organization, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient provision of financial services and effective day-to-day operations.

Job Summary

We are offering a competitive remuneration package based on the skills and experience of the successful applicant. The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the entire accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and adherence to company policies.
  • Work alongside credit manager to ensure credit control practices are embedded within the collections team.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls in all financial transactions.
  • Provide short-term and long-term cash requirements to optimize the company's cash position.
  • Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 5 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in a finance or accounting environment.
  • A Bachelor of Accounting, Commerce, or Business degree.
  • Strong leadership, management, and influencing capabilities.
  • Detailed-oriented analytical and organizational skills.
  • A can-do attitude and ability to work independently.
  • Ability to work effectively across organizational lines and possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
