Job Title: Home Care Workers

We are seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as Home Care Workers. As a valued member of our community, you will play a vital role in providing support and care to our aged community members.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide person-centered care and support to our clients
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Encourage independence and participation in activities
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, families, and colleagues
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A Certificate III in Individual Support (or equivalent)
  • Experience working with older adults or people with disabilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A current Working with Vulnerable People Registration (employment category)

Other Requirements:
  • A Tasmania Police Schedule 1 National Police Certificate (no older than 12 months and not an annulled record)
  • An International Police Check if you have resided for 12 months or more outside of Australia after the age of 16
  • A satisfactory Anglicare assessed medical
