The Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for a workshop-based HD Fitter to join our team on the afternoon shift (2pm – 10pm).
In this role, you will focus on the overhaul of minor and major hydraulic and mechanical components on various equipment lines.
Based in our Brisbane branch, this permanent role will allow you to access OEM training while building a long-term career in a global company.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the HCA Safety Culture is embraced, displayed, and driven from within – safety takes priority over everything else.
- Hold relevant Australian (or Australian recognised) Mobile Plant, Fitter Machinist, or Heavy Diesel trade qualifications.
- Have previous experience with the overhaul, repair, and remanufacture of mechanical and hydraulic components.
- Have an understanding of Mining, Earthmoving, and/or Construction equipment.
- Have the ability to recognize basic product quality deviations/faults.
- Hold good communication skills and the ability to work autonomously or as part of a team.
- Having experience in a production line style workshop would be advantageous.
