About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Product Manager to lead our Digital Acceptance merchant products. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and delivering on 12-month product roadmaps that align with our vision, product strategy, and commercial targets.

You will oversee the squads that deliver the product, ensuring end-to-end delivery of product features from ideation to launch. This includes managing risks, maintaining a high-level plan, and prioritizing the roadmap to balance product capability, regulatory and compliance, technical debt, and commercial trade-offs.

As a Senior Product Manager, you will work closely with multiple stakeholders across business and technology teams, managing dependencies and ensuring alignment. You will also work with vendors and partners to enable product outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver on 12-month product roadmaps that align with Wpay's vision, product strategy, and commercial targets
  • Oversee the squads that deliver the product through end-to-end delivery of product features from ideation through to launch
  • Maintain a high-level plan and ruthless prioritization of the roadmap to balance product capability, regulatory and compliance, technical debt, and commercial trade-offs
  • Work with vendors and partners to enable product outcomes
  • Maintain a detailed understanding of the marketplace and identify future technology and/or product opportunities that can be fed into the strategy

Requirements
  • 5+ years of Product Management experience with this domain and considered a subject matter expert in your field
  • Deep understanding of card payments and alternative payment methods such as Apple Pay, Google Pay, and BNPL
  • Proven track record of managing Product Roadmaps, and incremental Customer, Business, and Technology benefits
  • Proven track record on growing and scaling products
  • Strong influencing skills and leadership skills with a customer-first mindset
  • Innovative thinking and demonstrated problem-solving skills
  • Creative thinker with a vision
Desirable
  • Understanding of PCI DSS
  • Worked in Lean Product Management environments
  • Knowledge of Agile methodology for product development
  • Good understanding of using Swaggers to document APIs
  • Experience with Atlassian tools
