Job Title: Senior Accounting Professional

Role Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, cost management, and financial reporting.

  • Prepare accurate financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
  • Develop and implement effective budgeting and forecasting strategies
  • Manage cash flow and ensure the company's financial stability
  • Improve operational efficiencies and reduce costs across the business
  • Prepare company tax and BAS statements
  • Ensure compliance with statutory laws and financial regulations
Key Responsibilities

In this senior accounting role, you will work closely with the wider finance team to provide strategic support and direction. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing financial models and analysis
  • Providing financial insights and recommendations to senior management
  • Collaborating with other departments to achieve business objectives
  • Identifying and implementing process improvements
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Accounting or Finance
  • Professional accounting qualification (CA or CPA desirable)
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar role
  • Excellent knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
