The Accounting Division is a boutique accounting firm offering tax and business advisory services to small and medium sized businesses, and individuals.

We are a 100% cloud based firm, which allows us great flexibility and efficiency.

We are not the typical accounting firm We do things a bit differently, by taking a modern approach to the advice & services we offer.

We are seeking an experienced Intermediate Accountant to join our growing team, who will be providing accounting services to clients whilst ensuring excellent customer relationshipsare developed and maintained throughout the process.

About the role

  • Preparation of financial statements, income tax returns and BAS's for family groups including Trusts, Companies, Partnerships & Individuals
  • Reviewing of working papers & financial statements
  • Liaising with clients and government organisations in a timely and professional manner (incl. ASIC and ATO)
  • Meeting with clients to complete Individual Tax Returns
  • Collaboration with social media & newsletter content
  • Above average salary on offer (for the right candidate)
  • Work from home 2 days (Tuesday & Fridays)
  • Monthly RDO's
  • Never work on your birthday
  • Work in a super friendly team, where success is celebrated
  • Work in a vibrant office adjacent to Birkenhead Point Shopping Centre
  • On site parking available, or great public transport options
  • Regular social team events
  • External training provided regularly

You will have:

  • CA Qualification
  • Minimum 5 year's experience in public practice as an accountant
  • Back to front knowledge of Xero
  • Ability to learn and use other industry related software
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong problem solving and numerical skills
  • A positive and driven attitude
