Job Description

A senior civil and/or geotechnical engineer will work on exciting design and construction projects across Australia.

This role involves senior engineering functions, including design, modelling, deliverable development, construction management, and planning support.

The engineer will be part of a multidisciplinary team and responsible for maintaining client relationships, developing new business, and providing mentoring to junior staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide practical design and construction support for landfill, stormwater, mining, and csg projects.
  • Design, coordinate, and project manage projects from feasibility through to construction.
  • Coordinate with clients, stakeholders, and project teams to develop project scopes, budgets, and schedules.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff.
  • Complete, review, and approve civil engineering designs, specifications, and reports.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in civil or geotechnical engineering.
  • RPEQ (civil/geotechnical) registration or working towards it.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in the engineering sector within Australia.
  • Previous experience in an engineering consultancy is advantageous.
  • A positive attitude, strong communication skills, and experience in landfill engineering and dam engineering are desired.
