About the Opportunity

As a Hazmat and Occupational Hygiene Consultant at Tetra Tech, you will play a vital role in managing diverse projects across Australia, spanning sectors such as energy, defence, mining, oil & gas, public infrastructure, and future energy. Our team of experts delivers innovative solutions to complex challenges, leveraging our extensive knowledge and experience.

We are seeking professionals with qualifications in science or relevant industry experience to join our dynamic team. Previous experience in Hazardous Materials or Occupational Hygiene is an advantage, as is LAA License (or working towards licenced asbestos assessor status) and Australian Institute of Occupational Hygiene provisional membership (or working towards provisional status).

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake hazmat and occupational hygiene site inspections, develop technical reports, and engage with clients and contractors;
  • Develop your skills in managing projects end-to-end, from initiation to completion;
  • Work collaboratively with our team of experts, including environmental scientists, engineers, geologists, and remediation and waste management consultants;
  • Travel regionally as required, utilizing your full Australian driver's license;
  • Maintain work rights in Australia.
