Principal Environmental Consultant

The Principal Environmental Assessment & Approvals Consultant will lead strategy, shape projects, and influence the approvals landscape for high-profile clients across Victoria and beyond.
This role involves managing complex environmental approvals under various acts, leading the development of referrals, impact assessments, EMPs, and technical reports, providing strategic advice to clients on environmental risks, constraints, and pathways, liaising with state and federal regulators, and managing stakeholder engagement.
Effective leadership and communication skills are essential in driving project success and fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will have a degree in Environmental Science, Planning, Policy, or a related field, 10+ years of experience navigating state and federal approvals processes, a deep understanding of Victorian environmental legislation and regulatory bodies, excellent communication and leadership skills, and a drive to lead, innovate, and deliver best-practice outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:- Managing complex environmental approvals
