Job Overview:

At AECOM, we deliver sustainable legacies for generations to come. As a Senior Structural Engineer in our Dams team, you will contribute to the design, construction, and asset management of critical water infrastructure projects across Australia.

  • Perform structural analysis and review of concrete dams, spillways, and appurtenant structures.
  • Develop conceptual to detailed designs of dams and structural components of dams.
  • Conduct inspections, investigations, and condition assessments of existing dams.
  • Provide construction support services, including inspection of works, evaluation of quality control and quality assurance data, and construction reporting.
  • Prepare tenders and proposals and provide mentoring.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven capability in structural design, including the preparation of design reports, design drawings, and specifications, ideally within the dam industry.
  • Positive attitude, with a willingness to innovate, collaborate, and grow.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to develop and nurture relationships with internal stakeholders, clients, and the local industry.
  • Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or a related discipline (essential).
