Production Crew Member

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Production Crew Member to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with site build activities, including lifting, carrying, painting, installation of site infrastructure, décor, furniture, general maintenance, unloading trucks, rigging of flown elements, plumbing infrastructure, basic carpentry, and assisting technical staff with lighting, sound, and AV equipment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of health and safety procedures and protocols, as well as excellent communication and teamwork skills. They will be able to work independently and as part of a team, and will be comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with site build activities, including installation of site infrastructure, décor, furniture, general maintenance, unloading trucks, rigging of flown elements, plumbing infrastructure, basic carpentry, and assisting technical staff with lighting, sound, and AV equipment.
  • Perform daily safety checks on tools and equipment.
  • Identify and report any hazards or near misses to the site manager or supervisor.
  • Collaborate with site management and other personnel to maintain a safe work environment.
Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • 1 year of experience in site/event/build/manual labour (preferred).
  • A White Card (required).
  • Work authorisation for Australia (required).
Benefits:

This is a casual position offering competitive hourly rates from $31.23 per hour, plus penalty rates. You will also receive supplementary pay for weekend and evening work.
