We are seeking a skilled Senior Financial Accounts Professional to support our client, a well-regarded content creation firm, in their offices on the Lower North Shore. The successful candidate will have several years of AP/AR experience and be immediately available to start.

This is an excellent opportunity for a senior accountant to work with a medium-sized and growing media firm on an initial long-dated 14m Fixed Term Contract [FTC].

Key Responsibilities:
  • Finance Operations Management: Ensure timely processing of all manual and automated payments to both employees and suppliers, management of debtors, and support of the finance administration function.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare P&L, balance sheet, Board reporting as requested/required.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously identify potential areas of improvement and be proactively involved in creating solutions.
  • Audit Liaison: Liaise with internal and external auditors.
  • Monthly Timetable: Adhere to month end timetable to ensure timely delivery of monthly results to senior management.
Requirements:
  • Professional Experience: Several years of AP/AR experience.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in XERO, MICROSOFT SUITE, strong Microsoft Excel competency.
  • Soft Skills: Great interpersonal skills, attention to detail, strong organisational skills, versatility, ability to work under pressure.
