The Role
We are seeking a Mediation Team Lead to join our team and lead the delivery of high-quality dispute resolution services. As part of the newly formed Strata and Property Taskforce, you will have the opportunity to innovate and improve outcomes for the community.
This is a leadership role where you will be responsible for managing a skilled team of mediators, driving service excellence, and making a real difference in people's lives. You will work closely with stakeholders across the sector, leveraging your expertise to deliver effective dispute resolution solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a skilled team of mediators and drive service excellence.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve outcomes for the community, including innovative alternative dispute resolution options.
- Engage with key stakeholders across the sector, building relationships and partnerships to deliver effective dispute resolution solutions.
- Contribute to the development of policies and procedures that support the delivery of high-quality dispute resolution services.
About You
- You will have strong mediation experience and National Mediator Accreditation System - recognised training.
- You will possess sharp problem-solving and negotiation skills, a cool head, empathetic approach, and proven leadership capability.
- You will be confident in communicating complex ideas simply and effectively.
Requirements
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in law, conflict resolution, or a related field.
- Proven experience in managing teams and delivering high-quality dispute resolution services.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
