Learning and Content Lead – Mental Health in Primary Schools

We are seeking a highly skilled Learning and Content Lead to play a pivotal role in shaping the Mental Health in Primary Schools (MHiPS) initiative. This high-profile program aims to drive systemic change in student mental health across Australia.
The successful candidate will design, develop, and maintain evidence-based content for the MHiPS training program as it expands from Victoria to other states. They will also research and implement innovative delivery methods for both online and in-person training.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the development, review, and adaptation of MHIPS training content, ensuring it remains relevant, evidence-based, and accessible to a diverse range of participants.
- Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including research partners, government, and education professionals, to co-design and adapt training content for national expansion.
- Research and implement innovative delivery methods and ensure the Learning Leader team is upskilled on content delivery, including the development and maintenance of training materials.
- Actively participate in leadership meetings, anticipating potential project issues, and collaborate with the Project Leadership Team to resolve challenges, while maintaining a risk register as needed.
- Monitor the quality of training materials and resources, ensuring they meet established standards and are regularly updated to reflect the latest evidence and best practices.
- A PhD in education, psychology, public health, or a relevant social science area.
- A successful history of research accomplishments, including leadership and management of research projects.
- Proven ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders, including community groups and government organisations, to conduct research or evaluation projects.
- Demonstrated expertise in designing and delivering effective online learning experiences, including strategies for supporting participant engagement and addressing their unique needs.
