About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Co-worker to join our team at IKEA. As a Sales Co-worker, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and sales support to our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Approach customers and identify their needs to provide personalized support
- Participate in selling products with a positive attitude and contribute to business goals and growth
- Prepare meetings with customers and lead in 1:1 appointments to communicate benefits and adapt to customer feedback
- Practice Active Selling while maintaining profitability by knowing and steering towards top-selling and prioritized products
- Prepare product presentations and secure merchandising basics to give customers a positive shopping experience
Requirements
- Possess a passion for learning and sharing the IKEA product range with customers
- Able to prioritize multiple tasks and comfortable with on-the-job physical activity
- Adopt a customer-focused mindset and strive to deliver a memorable shopping experience
- A 'Togetherness' mindset where you'll work closely with your team yet also be able to work independently
- Strong customer service skills and ability to interact with many customers consistently
- Proficient computer skills and ability to learn about all technical aspects of the IKEA IT systems and tools

Working at IKEA
We are a dynamic and fast-paced environment that requires flexibility and adaptability. As a Sales Co-worker, you will be working in a team environment and will be required to work 8:30am to 6:00pm weekdays, weekends, and public holidays. You will also have the availability to work 3 out of 4 weekends in a month (both Saturday and Sunday consecutively).
