Physiotherapist Job in Mount Isa, Queensland

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Physiotherapist to join our team in Mount Isa, Queensland. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide physiotherapy services to patients in need.

Job Description:

You will work with a diverse range of clients, set your own schedule and have the chance to see the real difference your work makes as you enable rural communities to live and receive high-quality holistic care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administering muscle, nerve, joint and functional ability tests to identify and assess physical problems of patients;
  • Designing and evaluating treatment programs to address patients' issues;
  • Treating patients to reduce pain, improve circulation, strengthen muscles, restore joint mobility, and improve balance/coordination.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will hold or soon to hold a tertiary qualification in Physiotherapy, and registration with AHPRA.
