We are seeking an experienced and skilled Art Gallery Assistant to join our team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing the gallery's online presence, assisting with online and in-house sales, and contributing to artist recruitment for year-round exhibitions.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the gallery's online presence through social media and website management.
- Assist with online and in-house sales, including negotiating prices and providing excellent customer service.
- Contribute to artist recruitment and curation for year-round exhibitions.
- Collaborate with the team to develop and implement marketing strategies.
- Provide exceptional customer service to visitors and clients.
- Proven experience in art administration or a related field.
- Strong skills in social media management and online content creation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in fine arts or a related field an asset.
- Full-time position (approximately 30 hours per week).
- Flexible schedule with some evening and weekend work required.
- Work from home option available.
