The role of Finance Content Graduate plays a pivotal part in supporting the finance editorial team by conducting research, crafting engaging content, and publishing accurate articles that cater to consumers' financial needs. Working alongside journalists, SEO specialists, researchers, and marketers, the graduate contributes to creating informative content that empowers Australians to make informed financial decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct research and write diverse types of finance content, including explanatory articles, product-comparison pages, and breaking news pieces.
  • Identify and propose personal content ideas based on consumer trends and industry developments.
  • Source and pitch story concepts grounded in emerging consumer and industry trends.
  • Apply Canstar's tone, editorial standards, and SEO guidelines to ensure content is compelling, accessible, and optimised for search.
  • Interview internal and external finance experts to add depth and authority to the content.
  • Publish and format articles in the content management system to present them clearly and user-friendly.
  • Monitor the performance of content and leverage insights to inform future improvements and updates.
