Key Roles and Responsibilities

The Accounts Receivable Manager will oversee the full cycle of accounts receivable operations, including cash applications, customer evaluations and approvals, collections and account reconciliations. This role requires a strong technical proficiency to uphold all accounts receivable policies and procedures.

The ideal candidate will lead and develop a team of AR Specialists responsible for daily tasks. They will also support the integration of newly acquired businesses by aligning AR practices and systems as needed.

To be successful in this position, you will need to monitor customer accounts to identify and resolve billing issues, payment delays and disputes in a timely and customer-focused manner. You will also partner cross-functionally to manage and maintain accurate customer master data.

The AR Manager will evaluate and approve customer credit limits in accordance with company policies and risk tolerance. They will collaborate with other teams to ensure alignment with customer accounts and resolve escalated issues.

You will drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance AR processes, reporting and systems. This will involve analyzing AR data to identify trends, risks and opportunities to provide actionable insights to senior leadership.

In addition to these responsibilities, you will foster a customer service-oriented culture within the AR team. This will require balancing firm credit practices with strong internal and external relationships.
