Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Professional to join our early learning community. As a Casual Cook, you will be responsible for providing healthy meals to our children and supporting the daily operations of our kitchen.

Responsibilities
  1. Prepare and cook nutritious meals for children
  2. Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment
  3. Assist in menu planning and inventory management
  4. Provide exceptional customer service to children and staff
Requirements
  • A valid Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain
  • Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (required)
  • Current First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain
  • Cert II / III in Commercial Cooking (highly regarded)
  • Cooking experience in an early childhood setting (highly regarded)
